The artwork that was submitted to us for The Powder Coaters new batch of merch was a little bit intimidating; it had multiple blues, greys, it needed a white base as well as a highlight white, a black background, and finally also needed some black detail to go down on top of everything.

Going into this we thought that it was going to need to be printed in a certain order, and take multiple trips around the printing press in order to be printed correctly.

Oh how wrong we were.

Instead, we attempted something crazy. We set up the artwork on the printing press in such a way that the artwork would all be printed in one rotation of the press (fastest production speed).

First, down went the thin black base layer, followed by a white mask.
Third to go down was grey #1, and then grey #2.
Fifth, sixth, and seventh were blue, blue, and a highlight white.
Finally we hit a thickened black for crispy details.

To our surprise, the artwork looked perfect, so we continued with production and completed the order of 150+ tees and sweaters with zero issues.
