The Mudhunniez Racing group wanted custom cowboy hats for their summer riding clinic/campout - so we tracked some down and got to work with decorating!
Tonal printing, or tone-on-tone printing, is a technique that uses either lighter or darker inks to print on a darker or lighter fabric.
This video demonstrates the tonal printing method by printing a custom light green/sage coloured ink onto a dark green shirt.
Often when we’re tasked with decorating shirts and hats in the same order, there has to be some simplifying of artwork to make it work for embroidery/hats.
With printed patches, we can provide a ‘no compromise’ solution and decorate practically any type of artwork onto your headwear.
Some times if you want to pull off a black and white design just right, you have to add one or two greys in there too.
Perfect example here of a black and white design with a medium grey printed as well, to give more depth of colour, in a colourless design.
