This interesting looking machine is called a post-bed sewing machine. It’s purpose made to sew patches onto hats and other difficult to handle items.

Some suppliers will sell you patches that are glued onto your hats with a heat-activated glue and a heat press.

We sew ours on. Ours don’t come off.
